Meet Kimberly Morrow & Elizabeth DuPont Spencer

Kimberly Morrow, LCSW

With over 25 years of experience in helping people transform their relationship with fear and take back their lives from anxiety, Kimberly Morrow, LCSW, has become passionate about teaching clinicians how to do the same for their clients. Her skilled approach to helping clients with the most severe symptoms of anxiety using cognitive behavior therapy with exposure and response prevention is palpable throughout her workshops.  Kimberly is a highly sought-after speaker due to her ability to help clinicians not just learn skills but truly understand how to help clients transform their lives. Her compassionate and approachable style will have you engaged in this interactive training, filled with fun and challenging experiences.

Kimberly is a graduate of the International Obsessive-Compulsive Foundation’s Behavior Therapy Institute and a board member of OCD Pennsylvania. Additionally, Kimberly is an active member of the Anxiety and Depression Association of America, serving on many committees. Kimberly is the co-owner of AnxietyTraining.com, providing online training and consultation to therapists.  She is the 2012 recipient of the Clinician Outreach Award and the 2015 Member of Distinction Award from the Anxiety and Depression Association of America. She is the author of Face It and Feel It: 10 Simple but Not Easy Ways to Live Well with Anxiety (2011) and the co-author of CBT for Anxiety: A Step-By-Step Training Manual for the Treatment of Fear, Panic, Worry and OCD.

Elizabeth DuPont Spencer, LCSW-C

Anxiety disorders, obsessive-compulsive disorder and depression are common and serious, and can be overwhelming for clients and clinicians alike.  With over 25 years in private practice with children and adults using cognitive behavioral therapy with exposure and response prevention, as well as training therapists all across the country, Elizabeth uses her knowledge, compassion and humor to make her workshops come alive for participants.  Pervious participants rave about her engaging style and remark that they feel much more capable and competent about handling even the most complicated cases when they return home. Elizabeth is a member of the International Obsessive-Compulsive Foundation (IOCDF), the National Association of Social Workers (NASW) and of the Anxiety and Depression Association of America (ADAA). She is a Clinical Fellow of the ADAA, and also received the 2012 Clinician Outreach Award and the 2017 Clinician of Distinction Award. She is a graduate of Columbia University in New York City, and the University of Maryland at Baltimore’s School of Social Work. She is the co-author of three books, The Anxiety Cure, The Anxiety Cure for Kids, and CBT for Anxiety and OCD: A Step-by-Step Training for the Treatment of Fear, Panic, Worry, and OCD.
